i lost track of time

i have a hard time managing my study time. i think i lack the motivation to study. i dunno why, i find it more interesting studying language than accounting hahaha…

well what can i do, this is society’s expectation, if i don’t get my master degree than i won’t be able to get a good job but who knows what will happen in the future. anyway, i just need to prepare myself to be independent oneday. i really want to have a great job where i could earn more than enough for my monthly expenses and who knows maybe i could have a house and a car. that would be nice : )

my sister is in jogja now, she’s on her orientation days, which is sound like hell. well my mother said, my sister barely sleep these last few days and barely eat. she just drink one glass of milk every morning and off to school. her seniors expect them to work in groups and make a report on something (i’m not sure what). it seems great, u know by having to do only reports for orientation instead of having to do some runnings, push ups, silly errands, and what not. but it took them long enough to do it, she had to work until late and had problems with her laptop and printer. all of the internet cafes are used up because most of the students are getting the same task. the line up queues maybe just like what i usually see when harry potter just came out in the cinema.

orientation days in indonesia really is a pain in the ass. i just can’t think of the advantage of having that! i’m glad i don’t go to universities here. i heard that for students doing postgraduate courses there wouldn’t be any orientation, i hope that’s true. in Australia, the orientation days are completely different from here. we just had an introduction about the school and some welcoming speeches from the teachers and student representative. that’s it, nothing more. and oh yeah i think we have a tour also, for free, to get to know the university. that kind of orientation is very useful compare to what we have here, well what can i say, schools here are way too old fashion.
