tired

i'm so tired, today after lunch we went to hutong by taxi with the other students. we couldn't take many photos because of the rain. one hand holding an umbrella and another taking photos is not easy haha..
the place is basically a really narrow street with alot of ancient chinese houses. the main road is abit wide, many cars are going in and out. i think it's not that convenient for the tourists cause the street can only fit one car and we had to squeeze to the side everytime a car passed by.
we went inside some of the siheyuan (it's the houses which has a garden in the middle and rooms on each 4 sides) the unique is on the left and right side of the door there are 2 small statues. the doors are all painted red. it's the most lucky colour for chinese people.
the main road has more shops than houses, but the prices are out of my budget. they have nice souvenirs though.
alot of us are from indonesia but i dont really know most of them, because i'm new and they're all had been in this school for more than 6 months so it's kind of hard to blend in haha..
next week we will have 5 exams, kou yu (conversation), bao kan (newspaper reading), xie zuo (letter/essay writings), ting li (listening) and jing du (intensive reading). i'm going to scram my head for a while now cause i need to catch up for my 3 weeks absent.
i'm scared now, i know it's gonna be hard, i just been here for 1 year and i took this intermediate C class which is actually the 6th semester course. hope i can get through this...
